The approval checklist before checkout.

Use this one-page checklist when a producer, venue, school, council, church, or corporate IT team needs to know what EzyTimer installs, what network access it needs, and how the live event stays local.

Install

Installer and permissions

EzyTimer is Windows 11 software. Administrator permission recommended so the desktop app and EzyTimer virtual camera can register correctly. Install before show day. Verify checksum if required, and test on the actual show laptop.

License

Licensing

EzyTimer is sold as a one-time, per-machine purchase with a 14-day trial and Lemon Squeezy activation. One operator machine, activate once online, run live events offline after activation.

Network

Network access

Local network access is used for iPad/phone remotes, confidence displays, and local control surfaces. Internet is not required for the live countdown. Allow local LAN traffic and check firewall before doors open.

Camera

Virtual camera

The EzyTimer virtual camera feeds the live timer to Zoom or Microsoft Teams without OBS. The meeting-app selector should show EzyTimer; some apps need a restart after install, and a tray reset can repair registration.

Privacy

Data and privacy

Speaker lineup, notes, timing state, event files, and diagnostic reports are designed to stay on the show laptop unless the operator exports or shares them. No account required. No silent diagnostic upload, no audience analytics.

Support

Support evidence

If something fails, support is much faster when the operator saves a diagnostic report and notes the meeting app, Windows version, and camera status. Run Show Ready check, Save diagnostic report, include masked license status.

Recommended procurement path. Install the trial on the exact Windows 11 show laptop, test the projector, overlay, Zoom/Teams camera, iPad controller, and Show Ready check, then purchase or request the license once the real room workflow passes.
