EzyTimer is designed so the live timer, display, overlay, controller, and virtual camera run on your show laptop and local network. Internet is mainly for activation, updates, and support.
Local event state
The active timer, speaker lineup, display, overlay, and virtual camera are designed to run on the Windows 11 show laptop and room network.
Offline operation
Activate and check for updates while online. During the event, EzyTimer can keep running locally without depending on a cloud account.
License activation
Activation uses the current Lemon Squeezy license flow. Support views should use masked license status, not your full key.
Controller protection
Remote controller sessions use a PIN-gated flow and role-scoped access so a viewer session cannot author timer state.
Diagnostics by choice
Save diagnostic report… creates a local JSON file with app, server, overlay, camera, release, and recent log details for support.
Rolling logs
EzyTimer keeps rolling local support logs for server, camera, update, and crash events so show-day issues have evidence.
What EzyTimer is not trying to collect. EzyTimer is not a cloud event platform, audience analytics tool, or attendee tracker. It is a local show timer. The public website and Lemon Squeezy checkout may handle normal web, payment, and license records, but the live timer workflow is built around the event laptop and local network.
