Terms and license agreement

1. The software

EzyTimer is Windows 11 event timing software for live production, presenter displays, local remotes, overlays, and virtual camera output. These terms apply to the EzyTimer desktop app, website, license activation, and related support materials.

2. Trial and license

• EzyTimer may include a 14-day trial so you can test it on your actual show laptop.
• A paid license is for one machine unless your purchase or written agreement says otherwise.
• You may use EzyTimer for your own events, client events, rehearsals, and production work.
• You may not resell, sublicense, share, or publish license keys.

3. Activation and offline use

License activation may require an internet connection and basic device information so the license can be validated. After activation, EzyTimer is designed to run locally and offline for live events. Some actions, such as updates, license changes, purchases, and support requests, may require internet access.

4. Your event data

Your speaker names, schedules, timing data, messages, themes, and event files remain your responsibility. EzyTimer is built to store event data locally unless you export, send, or share it. Keep backups of important show files.

5. Updates

Updates may include bug fixes, compatibility changes, feature improvements, and security hardening. Free updates are currently planned within the same major version, but future paid upgrades may be offered for major new versions.

6. Restrictions

You agree not to reverse engineer, tamper with licensing, bypass activation, distribute modified installers, use EzyTimer to violate law, or interfere with the app's local server, virtual camera, or security controls except for legitimate troubleshooting.

7. Live-event responsibility

EzyTimer is designed for professional events, but no timing system can guarantee a perfect show. Test the app, displays, virtual camera, network, and backup workflow before relying on it live. You are responsible for operating decisions during your event.

8. Refunds

Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy. If you purchased through Lemon Squeezy or another merchant of record, refunds may be processed through that provider.

9. Support

Support is provided by email where practical. We may ask for your license status, version, diagnostic report, or log files to troubleshoot. We do not need your full payment card details.

10. Warranty and liability

EzyTimer is provided "as is" to the maximum extent allowed by law. We are not liable for lost profits, lost events, lost data, production delays, or indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
