Run the timer like a show system.
Use this checklist before a live event so the controller, full-screen display, overlay, virtual camera, speaker lineup, and Show Ready checks are all confirmed before the first speaker starts.
- Morning · Before travel: confirm the show laptopInstall or update EzyTimer on the actual Windows 11 operator laptop. Activate the license or confirm the 14-day trial is still valid. Open the speaker lineup and confirm durations, order, notes, and next-speaker names.
- Setup · At the venue: check every outputOpen the full-screen display on the projector, confidence monitor, or second display. Show the presenter overlay if that workflow is needed. If hybrid, choose the EzyTimer virtual camera in Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
- Network · 30 minutes out: connect controllersOpen the controller on the operator laptop. If using an iPad or phone, connect it to the same local Wi-Fi and confirm the PIN-gated controller works. Disable laptop sleep and keep the show laptop plugged into power.
- Go / no-go · doors open: run Show ReadyUse tray Run Show Ready check… and review controller, display, overlay, camera, recovery, network, and sleep status. If anything fails, fix it before the first speaker starts. Use Save diagnostic report… if support needs evidence.

Start EzyTimer first, reopen Zoom or Teams camera settings, then choose EzyTimer. If needed, use tray Reset camera system….

Display stale?
Refresh the display page, confirm the controller is connected, and run Show Ready to check whether the display or overlay is reachable.

Controller closed?
Reopen the controller address. EzyTimer keeps timer state and reconnects the controller, display, overlay, and camera feed.
