Use the EzyTimer trial like an acceptance test. If the real laptop, display, remote controller, virtual camera, themes, and Show Ready check pass, buying the license should feel boringly safe.
Install on the exact machine
Do not test only on a spare laptop. Install on the Windows 11 operator laptop that will run the event. Run the installer as administrator, confirm the trial or license screen opens, and keep the laptop plugged into power.
Test the projector or confidence screen
Open the full-screen display on the real output and stand where the speaker will stand. Check timer size and contrast, try Apple Clean or Apple Dark first, and disable display animations if needed.
Connect the iPad or phone controller
Put the device on the same local network and confirm it can control the live timer. Enter the EzyTimer PIN; start, pause, next, and reset; confirm next-speaker visibility.
Preview Zoom or Teams
If you use hybrid meetings, open the meeting app and choose the EzyTimer virtual camera. Start EzyTimer first, confirm the camera feed updates live, and use Reset camera system if it is missing.
Save and restore a sample event
Create a small speaker lineup, theme it, save the event file, then restore it. Speaker names and durations return, theme and event logo return, finish sounds stay local as expected.
Run Show Ready before deciding
Use Run Show Ready check… to catch camera, overlay, recovery, network, and power issues. Fix warnings while you still have time, save a diagnostic report if support is needed, and retest after venue or laptop changes.
Buy only after the real workflow passes. The best trial result is simple: your actual event setup works. If something fails during the trial, use the support guide before buying so you know whether it is a fixable setup issue or a blocker for your room.
